Today, it’s the 6:08 bound for Homewood. I was thinking about my wife the other day… something that I do quite often, and an interesting thought came to mind. When we say: “My Wife” Is this the same as saying ‘my house’, or ‘my cat’, or even something as simple as ‘my pencil’? It’s just that it sounds so possessive; like she is an object bought and paid for and now owned by another… The same can be said about ‘my husband’, and ‘my girl/boy friend’, or even ‘my kids’.
