Let’s See!
Ireland in pictures -Part 1
Gap of Dunloe
I like to think of myself as a photographer, but the more I get into it, the more I realize how much of a photographer I am not.
Now that I have a decent camera and the proper software to edit and enhance the outcome, I’m not sure which is more overwhelming; trying to understand all the camera settings or trying to figure out when a photo is really “Finished” and ready for the public.
My daughter is the Photographer; she not only understands the camera and software settings but also has a grasp of the “Workflow” required to get a good shot with the camera and polish it well with the software afterwards. But I think most of all: She has that eye for a good shot.
She can take any subject matter and find that spark and passion that I for one never feel I catch in mine.
But in the end: It’s all about having fun.
Finally getting to actually go to Ireland after 18 months of delays due to the pandemic was also fun… to say the least. And to be able to share it with my photographer daughter was also a treat indeed.
I have many more pics I am working on, but for now, here are my favorites from the Gap of Dunloe.
