Train Time # – 21

Today it’s the 7:20 bound for Homewood.

 

Life is not fair!

But then again, nobody ever promised that it would be.

If you look at it from a religious perspective, God said that he would be with us. He said that if we had faith, and followed his chosen path, there would be a place for us in heaven when our time here is finished. He even says that in times of trial and challenge he would carry us in order to ease our burden.

I think however, that most people, including my self, assumes that this means that it (Whatever your “it” may be) will be easy and that God will just do “it” for you.

Unfortunately, I do not think “it” works this way.
I think that once again, that “F” word must come into play.

The all powerful Faith!

Look at it this way:

If you believe that God is with you, and helping you through the trying times, you need to remember that you still have to go through it, whatever it might be. If this happens to be something you are afraid of, or are unsure of the solution or outcome of, than chances are you are still going to feel scared or unsure.

The next thing most people do is assume that just because you feel afraid, you have failed or that God is not with you. We too often assume that each fear is a reflection of reality rather than what it really is:

Just A Feeling.

Again, it. comes down to what do you choose to believe, and then how do you choose to act on that belief: With faith, or with fear.

Now, having said all that, I make it sound easy right!
Not necessarily…

However, not easy, does not mean not possible.

Mankind has faced many a challenging thing in the history of our existence and come out on top.

As with the birds, and the flowers, and everything else that He created: You are important. You are not forgotten or left behind.

Have faith…

Stand tall.
Tell fear and dread to get bit!!!
