Train Time – #18

Today it’s the 5:40 bound for Homewood.

… and this is today’s revelation:

The lord does hear prayers… and he does answer them.

How can I be sure…

I mean REALLY sure: As in scientific proof like the modern world wants to have for just about everything?

The truth is, I can’t…

But I BELIEVE that I AM right.

Why?

It’s because of that nasty “F” word:

“Faith”

In the end, if I were to be honest with my self, understanding and really believing in the real concept this word represents is the single most difficult challenge of my life.

Think about it:

Imagine anything in life that you may face. Weather it be financial hardship, or challenges at work, family issues, or even your health: in the end, and along the way, it all comes down to:

“Do you believe, or do you not?

If you believe, then you will make choices based upon THAT mindset, and move forward with THAT thought.

If you do not…
…if all you see is failure and hopelessness, then THAT is what you will believe and THAT is what you will act upon.

Often times, having faith involves making a decision and moving forward with things only to find out that the next step also requires faith again. It’s not easy. Yet each time you make that step you prove to yourself that faith works, prayers are answered, and you, with God’s assistance, can do ANYTHING!

But you have to make that first step; and each step after that, knowing that you truly never walk alone!
